We are in the middle of an Artful Learning unit called "Castle and Sun" by Paul Klee. One of our inquiry centers involves comparing the day sky to the night sky. Last week the students made crayon resist paintings of the night sky. They turned out to be amazing!

A Blog for the Prosties!
Welcome to our new classroom blog! I am new at this, so please be patient as I figure out how to maneuver my way through the world of blogging. My goal is to capture the memories, successes and hard work that goes on in room 128 at Fairview School. Please feel free to send me feedback and ideas on how to make this blog even better.
My name is Eve Prost, and I have been teaching at Fairview for 13 years. The "Prosties" are my kindergarten students. We spend a lot of time together, and we have created a caring and supportive community of little humans. We are lucky to have Mrs. Knight as our classroom Assistant. She is an important part of our classroom family, and we appreciate her very much.
